I think that having it go from 5473 plus 90 and 5473 plus 100 and then minus 10 was engaging because it shows students that there are a multitudes of way to get form one answer to the next.

I found that working through the slides for dividing by 5 was very easy and understandable; the layout allowed for consistent growth for students to practice on bigger and bigger numbers while also consistently providing feedback.
