As I reflect upon my teaching goals, I find myself in the middle right hand side of the map. I used the words teaching goals as I was deliberate in my planning my teaching practice to provide learning experience for jr high students that were language focused, embedded with association to making meaning, provided opportunities to develop, practice and deepen self-efficacy skills and to ensure learning was designed to go deep with understanding of key concepts. I wonder now if students I taught were asked to put their experiences with math on the map, what the cluster would look like?
