Personally, I couldn’t apply anything but I could reflect on them and compare them to my prior biases and attitudes towards teaching math. I like how the “decide” portion of “PID”, talked about not repeating explanations that didn’t work or are unnecessary. This is something I think we need to work on as future teachers. We have to be willing to accept that our questions, explanations, or lessons aren’t working. Therefore, we need to reflect on how our lessons went in order to make them better! We cannot be afraid to change things. I also liked the point of not moving ahead before everybody is ready, this is why as teachers we should include forms of assessment before, during, and after our teaching.
